Special Behind the Rails Lecture: The Edwards Motor Car

Join us Sunday, September 6, at 5:30 PM for a special Motor Car Rally Behind the Rails Lecture!
The Tucson, Cornelia & Gila Bend Edwards Motor Car No. 401 turns 100 years old in 2026. From hauling passengers at the copper mines near Ajo, Arizona, to operating on tourist and museum railroads in Nevada, No. 401 has had a variety of assignments. Join Nevada State Railroad Museum, Carson City, volunteer John Stettler for a presentation titled, “The Life and Times of the Edwards Car: People, Places, and Things.” Stettler will discuss No. 401 and its various roles on railroads in Arizona and Nevada.
Admission is $10 for adults and free for children and museum members.
